YWAM Gold Coast assists many disadvantaged and “at-risk” Australians including people who are hungry, homeless or abused, every year. As a not-for-profit, volunteer, public benevolent institution (PBI) , we are fully reliant on support & sponsorship to cover our many operational expenses and overheads.
One tangible benefit of donating to a non-profit organization, is the tax deduction associated with donating. If you donate for no other reason, at least you will see a slight reduction in your own income taxes–and possibly more money in your own pocket–because you were able to deduct the amount you donated to an ATO approved charity.
